Hi, I'm Lindsay, the person behind
Crook Bookkeeping & Consulting
I’m a CPA, business owner, wife, and mom to two beautiful girls.
After nearly 10 years in accounting and consulting, I decided to build a business that brings together work I genuinely enjoy, the experience I’ve gained throughout my career, and more flexibility for the people and things that matter most to me.
MY STORY
Accounting has always been
about more than the numbers.
My career has taken me through public accounting, corporate accounting, management, and consulting, giving me experience with everything from financial reporting and month-end close to reconciliations, accounting systems, process improvement, payroll review, accounts payable, and audit support.
But one thing has stayed consistent throughout those different roles: I enjoy helping people make sense of the financial side of their business.
I believe good accounting support goes beyond getting the numbers right. Your financial information should help you understand where your business stands, answer questions, and make more informed decisions about what comes next.

Building a business around what matters most.
Starting Crook Bookkeeping & Consulting was about more than starting an accounting firm. I wanted to build something of my own that allowed me to continue doing work I enjoy while creating more flexibility and time with my family.
As a wife and mom of two girls, that time matters deeply to me. Building this business has given me the opportunity to create something that reflects both my professional experience and the life I want for my family.
And in many ways, that shapes how I think about my clients too. I know your business is only one part of your life. If I can help make the financial side of it more organized, understandable, and manageable, I hope that gives you a little more time and confidence to focus on what matters most to you.
